Hi, have been trying to find out more details of my grandmother's first husband George Havron, a driver then bombardier in c battery of the 94 brigade Royal Field Artillery service number 35383. He joined early in the way and was in France in 1915 and died 29/10/18 winning the Militarty Medal and I have seen the :ondon Gazette entry of 6 August 1918. He is buried in Etaples. reference LXXI. F. 11.
I would like to know how and where he won the MM and where his unit was when he was evacuated from the line with either wounds or illness. Can you help please?

Hi,
just stumbled across your website and wonder if you can help me with some research on some of the Victoria Cross recipients of the 21st Division. I am in the process of updating and revising my book on the VCs of Passchendaele which was originally published in 1998. Should you prefer to speak my tel no is 01603 435624.
Many thanks and well done on an excellent website,
Stephen Snelling
